Private family memories
Photos in this album are shared for personal family memories. I agree not to voluntarily submit these photos, or share them with others for use, as evidence in a legal proceeding.
This does not restrict lawful legal process, preserving evidence, seeking legal advice, reporting abuse or safety concerns, or exercising legal rights. This agreement does not create legal privilege or guarantee that a court will exclude the photos.
New adult recipients must acknowledge these rules themselves before accepting a board invitation. For a parent-managed child account, the authorized parent acknowledges the privacy expectations; the service does not claim that the child entered a binding contract. Existing board members are not recorded as having agreed automatically.
Calm Mere records the board, recipient, accepting account, version and server acceptance time. This acknowledgement does not change access permissions, preservation requirements, legal holds, retention policies or responses to valid legal process. It is a privacy expectation between participants, not a guarantee about the enforceability of an agreement or a court’s evidentiary decisions.
